Improve your well-being with Empower@Home

Empower@Home is an online program designed for adults over 60 to help uplift and improve emotional well-being. Research shows Empower@Home is effective in reducing depression among older adults. The program is self-paced and requires no experience with technology.

CareWell Services is partnering with the University of Michigan to bring Empower@Home to seniors in Barry and Calhoun counties through a voluntary study opportunity.

Improve your well-being from the comfort of your own home for free! This program is designed to improve mood and enhance quality of life.

The study program includes:

  • 9 online lessons, about 30 minutes each
  • Weekly support calls from a trained coach
  • A printed workbook with session summaries and practical exercises
  • A free tablet and internet provided
  • Tech support every step of the way

Durable Medical Equipment Closet

The DME Closet at CareWell Services provides loans or gifts of clean and sanitized recycled durable medical equipment at no cost to community members.

CareWell also accepts donations of lightly used DME equipment.
