The meeting will take place at the Forks Senior Center at 101 N. Albion Street in Albion at 3:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. If members are unable to attend the meeting, absentee ballots are available at the Senior Center starting December 1.

The agenda will include the introduction of candidates for the board, elections, our yearly update of progress, and the election results of the upcoming year’s board members. There are four openings on the board, and other board members are up for re-election for another term.

Board Member responsibilities include leadership, governance and oversight, serving as a trusted advisor to the Executive Director for the development and implementation of the strategic plan. Other responsibilities include reviewing agendas and supporting materials prior to board and committee meetings, as well as approving FSC’s annual budget, financial reports, and material business decisions.

Board Members are also required to meet all legal and fiduciary responsibilities, and assist the Executive Director and Board President in identifying and recruiting other board members.

FSC’s board members serve a two-year term. Maximum term of service is three two-year terms.
