Empower@Home: Improve your well-being
Empower@Home is an online program designed for adults over 60 to help uplift and improve emotional well-being. Research shows Empower@Home is effective in reducing depression among older adults. The program is self-paced and requires no experience with technology.
CareWell Services is partnering with the University of Michigan to bring Empower@Home to seniors in Barry and Calhoun counties through a voluntary study opportunity.
What's included
Improve your well-being from the comfort of your own home for free! This program is designed to improve mood and enhance quality of life.
The program includes:
- 9 online lessons, about 30 minutes each
- Weekly support calls from a trained coach
- A printed workbook with session summaries and practical exercises
- A free tablet and internet provided
- Tech support every step of the way
