CareWell is Accepting Request for Proposal for Grants

CareWell Services SW, provides services and funding to promote health, independence and choice for seniors, persons with disabilities and their caregivers in Barry and Calhoun counties. As part of its multi-year planning process for October 2019 through September 2022, the agency is accepting Request for Proposal (RFP) applications from organizations interested in applying for three year grants for services to seniors.

Services available for bid include adult day care, chore services, congregate and home delivered meals,  health promotion, kinship, legal services, respite care, senior center staffing, and transportation.  Eligible applicants include: For profit organizations, nonprofit agencies, and units of government. Eligible applicants will have experience working with seniors and be fiscally and programmatically competitive.

Organizations interested in applying for funding can download the RFP application for completion. RFP applications are due at the CareWell Services’ office by May 10, 2019, at 4:00 pm.  Late submissions will not be accepted.

Durable Medical Equipment Closet

The DME Closet at CareWell Services provides loans or gifts of clean and sanitized recycled durable medical equipment at no cost to community members.

CareWell also accepts donations of lightly used DME equipment.
