Luann Sommers, Director of Forks Senior Center (FCS), is the recipient of the 2025 Joanne Konkle Professional Leadership Award. This recognition honors her outstanding leadership, dedication, and the meaningful impact you have had in our community.
When I started working with Luann in 2015, it did not take long to recognize her compassion and authenticity for serving older adults in our community. When the opportunity came along for her to serve as the Director at FCS, I knew if anyone could set up FCS for success, it would be Luann. The Board and membership respect and trust her. She pours heart and soul into the work. I can’t think of anyone more deserving than Launna for this award.
