Notice of Public Hearing

Region 3B Area Agency on Aging, d/b/a CareWell Services Southwest, will hold an electronic Public Hearing through Zoom, to seek input from the public about the needs of and available services for seniors in Barry and Calhoun counties as a part of its Fiscal Year 2021 Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) with the Michigan Aging & Adult Services Agency. All interested parties are invited to provide input into the development of the AIP.

The Public Hearing will begin at 4:00 p.m., on Monday, June 22, 2020. It will take place electronically because of the closure of CareWell Services SW due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and Governor Whitmer’s declaration of a state of emergency.* At least one staff member of CareWell Services, classified as an essential worker, will be physically present at CareWell Services’ office to facilitate the electronic meeting, while the members of the Advisory Council and Policy Board, executive staff, and the public will participate remotely by Zoom. The building will remain closed to the public. A copy of the AIP is available below or by calling and requesting a copy be mailed to you.

The caller will be placed into a virtual “waiting room” until it is their time to speak during public comment.
